Herbie is an eye-catching, five year old coloured gelding standing at 16.2hh. We bought him direct from the breeder as a yearling and he was broken in in 2009 and then turned away for the winter.

 He is working beautifully on the flat, in a natural unforced outline. He has lovely rhythmic paces and lots of natural carriage which earns him very nice comments from dressage judges.

He has competed successfully in unaffiliated dressage, always won or placed, and been schooled over coloured fences at various different showjumping centres. He jumps fillers, trays, and all manner of spooky jumps without batting an eyelid and shows an exceptionally nice technique over fences both when loose jumped and under saddle.

 

He is nice and light to ride and shows an excellent attitude to work. A very easy horse with a super temperament who faces every challenge calmly but who is not at all ploddy.

 

A really pretty, striking horse who gets noticed wherever he goes, he is a completely unspoilt, genuine youngster who is now ready for more serious competition. He is good to clip, catch, box, shoe and hack.
